LGBT, is an initialism that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. In use since the 1990s, the term is an adaptation of the initialism LGB, which was used to replace the term gay in reference to the LGBT community beginning in the mid-to-late 1980s.

Before we bring them up, it is important that we give a brief definition of the terms.

LESBIANISM (lesbian); this is a romantic relationship between two women. 

GAYISM (Gay); it is a romantic relationship between two men, usually one acts like the woman.

BISEXUALITY (Bisexual); the act of been attracted to both sexes, a person who is sexually attracted to both men and women.

TRANSGENDERISM(Transgender); refers to the partial of full reversal of gender or it could also be the partial or full reversal of one’s gender either from male to female vice-versa.

Most cultures of the world seriously condemn this act, especially in Africa most countries have strict sanctions and jail terms for individual who indulge in such acts. But it’s not so in many western counties as it has been legalized.

Different Individuals also have various views about these practice, some are strongly in affirmative saying one is free to choose who he or she wants to go into a relationship with, others see it as the most immoral act one can ever  indulge in.

Religions are also in dispute over this notion, some are in support others consider it an abomination.
