PlayStation: How-To Connect To Tv And Internet.

PlayStation is a video game developed and owned by Sony electronics.

PlayStation was the idea of a Sony executive member Ken Kutaragi, he was in charge of the company's hardware engineering divisions at that time and would later be dubbed as "The Father of the PlayStation" because of the numerous criticism he faced when developing the game.

It was from his efforts that the PlayStation was able to come alive and  compete with other companies such as Nintendo.

The first developed PlayStation was called PS1, after awhile the company went a step ahead and introduce the PS2. The PlayStation 2 represented another leap in processing power and game play at its introduction with a CPU capable of 66 million polygons per second.

PlayStation 1
The PS1 was launched in late 1994 and was a global success, going on to sell over 100 million consoles. It also played host to some of the greatest video games of all time.
Following the failed Nintendo partnership, Sony formed Sony Computer Entertainment. That group released the first PS console in Japan in December 1994, and in the U.S. the following September. By the time it was discontinued in 2004, the platform had sold more than 100 million units.
